Congratulations to our wonderful winners of our Seachtain na Gaeilge competition organised by the Student Council - March 2025
World Book Dad 2025 was a great success. The children brought in their favourite book and dressed up as their favourite character.
Rugby lessons have now started courtesy of Leinster Rugby. The children love to see Karl coming every week and are learning great skills.
NOTIFICATON: The Board of Management of Edmondstown National School carried out its Annual Review of the Child Safeguarding Statement on 8th October 2024. This policy is available for review under the Policies tab.

A little lamb came to visit us during Seachtain na Gaeilge '24
3rd - 6th Class boys and girls are currently participating in Cumann na mBunscol GAA football. Well done on a great win on 21/09/23. Sincere thanks to Mr. Cooney & Ms Browne for facilitating training and matches. Well done everyone!

Sincere thanks to Minister Catherine Martin and Mr. Francis Duffy, T.D. for facilitating a visit to Dáil Eireann for our 5th & 6th Class. They really enjoyed their visit and listening to the Dáil debate a motion of no-confidence.
Congratulations to the Girls who were runners up in the recent FAI Primary 5s. They will go forward to the Regional finals in May. Well done to the boys who fought valiantly!
SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!
This February, our Green School Committee enjoyed a very informative and "hands on" visit to the Dublin mountains facilitated by Coillte. They planted lots of native trees near Cruagh Woods as part of the Dublin Mountains Makeover.
The Cumann na mBunscol GAA games kicked off last Thursday, 10th February. Don't the boys look great? Next up it's the turn of the girls!
Love was in the air on St. Valentines Day. Lots of gorgeous artwork all around the school - well done everyone!

NEWS FLASH: We have just been awarded our Renewal Active Flag - Congratulations to one and all! Minister for Tourism, Culture, Art, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media - Ms Catherine Martin, will raise our flag on 25th June. We have also been awarded our SIXTH Green Flag. This one is for Global Citizenship - Biodiversity & Foodwaste. What a fantastic achievement!

HAPPY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2021 EVERYBODY!
We had lovely Junior and Senior Zoom Assemblies on Monday 25th January to celebrate the start of Catholic Schools' Week. Thank you to Fr. Lyng for his special blessing and to all those children who read so beautifully. We are looking forward to posting all the lovely artwork and poems and prayers for our Grandparents on our Ethos page.

The school will remain closed until 28th February 2021 as per Department of Education instructions. The remote teaching and learning adventure will resume! We will use SeeSaw and Zoom as our communication platform.
We are delighted that Christmas plays went ahead as normal and were videoed by Mick Behan. You will be sent the link via email. No need to worry about a front seat view this year!

Edmondstown celebrates Catholic Schools' Week from 27th January 2020. The children will sing at the Laudate Festival on Wednesday 29th - all welcome! We invite all our Grandparents to school on Friday 31st. Your role in passing on the faith is a great source of joy and celebration.
