Christmas Tree Farm
A big thank you to Farmer Karen who invited 1st and 2nd class to Killakee Christmas Tree farm. We enjoyed learning about Christmas Trees, part taking in a scavenger hunt and we even got a goodie bag. Thank you so much!

Catherine came to visit and helped us to make some hand-made Christmas decorations and snowmen.

We used old plastic bottles to make calming lava lamps.

Hallowe'en 2022
We dressed up, enjoyed a Hallowe'en themed disco, and even took part in a few Hallowe'en traditions!
GOAL Jersey Day
We enjoyed GOAL jersey day by wearing our favourite jersey to school. We also had a competitive soccer match to celebrate!
Maths Week 2022
We used our 'Maths Eyes' when completing our maths trail. We played addition and subtraction games and made block graphs.

Art - Leaf Rubbings
We explored our garden and found beautiful leaves. We can see the veins of the leaves in our rubbings so well!
Maths
We were learning about 2D shapes this week. We used different materials and seen that there are lots of shapes in our environment.
Design and make your own playground
We used paper, scissors and glue to design our own playgrounds. Some even included rollercoasters!
