Sports day with a difference - organised by our active committee
JUNIOR AND SENIOR INFANTS HAD GREAT FUN IN SCIENCE TODAY. tHEY USED MILK, FOOD COLOURING AND WASHING UP LIQUID TO OBSERVE THE REACTION OF THE FAT PARTICLES IN THE MILK REACT WITH THE WASHING UP LIQUID. tHE FOOD COLOURING MADE THIS REACTION VISIBLE AS THE FAT PARTICLES IN THE MILK DISPERSED. lOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL SPREAD OF THE DIFFERENT COLOURS! mAGICAL!
tODAY WE WENT ON A BUG HUNT. wE FOUND SNAILS, INSECTS, CENTIPEDES, SPIDERS, WOODLICE, EVEN A LITTLE NEWT RAN OUT FROM OUR LOG PILE. wE HAD TO CAREFULLY RECORD ALL WE SAW. wE USED THE SIEVE TO DISCOVER WORMS HIDING IN THE SOIL.
ACTIVE WEEK: Just when I thought it couldn't get any betteR along come the 'keep fit' guys AND the Yoga teacher!!No wonder the children are all exhausted!
