"Bloom in the Park" : 1st June 2018
Third and Fourth class had a wonderful time at "Bloom" on Friday, 1st June. We learned all about sheep, pigs and cattle. We saw some amazing gardens - our favourite was the "upside down garden". We loved the garden that Goal created and we even met our friend Mura who had given us our "Drought and Migration" workshop. Ms Brocklebank and Linda were blindfolded and had pegs on their noses. They had to guess what they were eating - their tongues were confused! The parachute game was a lot of fun.
International Biodiversity Day 22/05/18
Mark Nolan from the Heritage Council visited our class today for International Biodiversity Day. We had great fun learning all about the importance of bees and then we even went on a bee catching walk. We studied the bees through the view finder. We are looking forward to helping plant lavender bushes which will create a pollination corridor for the bees. Meanwhile, we planted sunflower seeds in homemade flower pots using recycled newspaper.

BIODIVERSITY
Ms Brocklebank's class have been working hard on the theme of Biodiversity. They realise that we are all interdependent on each other. We must live in harmony with the animals and birds of the world and preserve our environment. We've got the world in our hands! They have created some lovely animal pictures.
